The writing on the wall

Not exactly graffiti but voices from the past. Perhaps graffiti is a voice from

m the past? Not sure.)

But these were strong voices. Religious and a dislike of architects. Fair enough.

But the more recent voices are a bit more footy orientated? This refers to Mexico v England, 24 May 1959 (friendly). Mexico won 2-1 with the England goal being scored by Derek Kevan (aka "The Tank"), born in Ripon, who played for West Bromwich Albion. He was always in contention with Brian Clough for No 9.
